Be a part of our efforts to build more masjids for Muslim communities in developing countries.

Without a doubt, the masjid represents the heart and soul of every Muslim community. It plays a vital role in daily worship; but also hosts special occasions, educational gatherings and community services. It also serves as a space to build relations and create a brotherhood between Muslims.

As a matter of fact, the first decision of the Prophet (SAW) upon his arrival in Medina, was choosing the location of where to build a masjid.

Sadly though, many Muslims across the globe do not have adequate access to a local masjid.

Some communities have lost their masjids through conflict or natural disaster, while many rural areas have never had a masjid at all. For them the long journey to the nearest masjid is difficult – even impossible – for the sick and elderly.

You too, could choose to sponsor the cost of a masjid in Africa, Asia or the Middle East. The cost would vary, depending on the size and the location of the masjid.

Your contribution can make a profound difference. For just £8,500 to £13,000, we can build a masjid that will serve as a centre of spiritual and communal life for generations to come.

• Uganda 6 x 9 (accommodates 150 worshippers) – £8,500 includes washroom, wudhu area and carpet.
• India 10 x 12 (accommodates 300 worshippers) – £12,500 includes washroom, wudhu area and carpet.
